1-21 IT'S MY BIRTHDAY

It's my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

My oh my where did all the time go. This year has flown by so fast and our little man is growing up so quickly.

I remember as a child how long the days were and how slow they would go by. Then once you are an adult and have a job the days go quicker. But I just have to say that once you have a child the time FLIES by so fast.

What a blessing this past year has been for our family. Seems just like yesterday we were telling our family we were pregnant and now we are celebrating Cayden's first birthday.

About to head out with Mommy and Daddy to meet Grandma at the mall for just a small birthday and then the party is on Saturday.

He was not so sure about this. He was ok with it staying still but once everything started to move, he got a little scared.

A short video of him on the carousel. This was probably the only time he was not crying. He liked being on the carousel as long as he was sitting and was not moving up and down.



After we placed him on the carousel, going up and down the elevator the rest of the night was not fun. He cried and thought that we were back on the carousel. So, note to self...he is not a fan of the carousel.

After shopping and walking around we took him to the little play area they have at the mall. They have a height requirement there, but so many parents just ignore it and let their older children play in there running all around and sometimes almost running into the small children. So, if we ever go there again we are just going to have to go when all the school age children and most parents are at work. The video below explains how Cayden really felt about the play area.

Next, we went and got Ice Cream. This is the first time Cayden will have ever had ice cream. Everyone kept trying to give it to him earlier but we were sticklers and kept saying no. As you will see from the pictures he LOVED it!

We had so much fun at the mall with Grandma. Cayden had a a blast and found a new love for ice cream. He now gets a little ice cream every once in a while since we don't keep it in the house very often.
